Men's Health, Sept/Oct 2005, No. 379: AIDS Prevention: Many Challenges to Overcome

7,000 people learned they were HIV-positive over the course of a year, with two population groups—gay men and people from sub-Saharan Africa—particularly affected. How can we reignite commitment to prevention? This issue presents, by population group (young people, the gay community, migrants, sex workers, and prisoners), the prevention strategies currently in place along with their limitations, and, in contrast, community-based initiatives that are, for the most part, innovative.
