Expanding initial and continuing education for health education teachers. Profédus: a tool for training health education teachers.

Profédus, which stands for "Promoting Teacher Training in Health Education," offers a range of resources designed to support both initial teacher training (master’s programs) and continuing professional development. It is intended for anyone working in this field, regardless of their status or the institution to which they belong. This tool has the dual characteristic of being both grounded in the findings of international research on health education in schools and drawing on the experience of 190 contributors. It is the result of a long-term collaboration between the "Health Education in Schools" research team (PAEDI EA 4281) at the IUFM of Auvergne (Blaise Pascal University, Clermont-Ferrand II), the University Network for Health Education (UNIRéS), and the National Institute for Prevention and Health Education (Inpes). Profédus brings together resources designed to help trainers prepare their training sessions and others that will enable them to illustrate the pedagogical approach to health education during training sessions.
