Why and how should we combat stigma in mental health?

Stigma surrounding mental health has a significant impact on the daily lives of those affected. While societal perceptions of mental illness have evolved over the past few decades, stigma remains deeply entrenched. Various initiatives are working to combat this stigma, including advocacy and educational efforts, as well as initiatives based on personal interaction with individuals living with mental health conditions.
