Train healthcare providers to care for a diverse patient population.

Without proper reflection, stereotypes can persist within healthcare teams. Professionals struggle to balance clinical protocols and interventions on one hand, and the patient and their perceptions on the other. Hence the need to train them so that they have the knowledge to adapt to the patient’s true needs in the here and now, in the face of ever-changing clinical situations. In every healthcare setting, a space for dialogue must be created to collectively resolve the difficulties encountered.
