Taking time to observe brings a sense of wonder that is truly refreshing [Interview]

The Vigie-Nature program, led by the National Museum of Natural History and the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB), makes scientific observation of biodiversity accessible to everyone—students and teachers, inexperienced citizens and seasoned naturalists, farmers, and local community gardeners. Training the eye to perceive microcosms, mutual support, a sense of working for the common good, a moment of respite in fast-paced lives… The benefits are significant, both for the general public and for the professionals who participate.
