Supporting refugees so they can take charge of their own health

The Committee for the Health of Exiles (Comede) works to promote the health of exiles and defend their rights. In addition to specialized patient education and therapeutic counseling (PETC) sessions, group workshops and support groups have been established to empower patients to take charge of their own health, mobilize their resources, and enable them to collaboratively set their own goals. This health promotion approach goes far beyond PTE and addresses the mental health, well-being, and overall health of these individuals, who are very often in vulnerable situations.
