Risk factors and health determinants
Prevention is everyone’s responsibility. Regardless of the level at which decisions are made—whether individual or collective—all can contribute to improving health. Selecting prevention strategies with proven effectiveness and taking early action are two essential elements of an ambitious policy. Particular attention must be paid to behaviors that are harmful to health and that can be addressed: diet, tobacco, and alcohol.
