Public spaces: a key factor in people’s well-being.

As symbolic spaces of "living together," public spaces can promote mental, physical, and social well-being, but they can also be a source of conflicts over use and nuisances that affect users' health. This article examines the challenges of public space planning from a health perspective and proposes several courses of action.
