There is little literature on health promotion in hospitals. Few documents have been added to those we identified in 2002 in the latest issue of La Santé de l'homme devoted to this topic (No. 360, July–August 2002: http://www.inpes.sante.fr/SLH/sommaires/360.asp). Here we present a list of foundational documents on health promotion in hospitals, some references for further reflection and feedback on experiences, a list of manuals, guides, and tools, and some information on health promotion among healthcare professionals. A list of organizations, journals, and events related to the subject completes this bibliography.[article excerpt]
