One barometer doesn't make a spring.

Health surveys that poll the general public—such as the INPES Health Barometer—are valuable to public health because they track changes in behavior. However, this approach has its limitations, due to the methods used to collect and present the information and results. Population surveys must therefore be cross-referenced with other, “qualitative” studies, particularly to support those working on the front lines of prevention. [article excerpt]
