Although France has been a country of immigration for over a century, its relationship with this issue has been complex, evolving in response to economic and political conditions. Migrants constitute a highly diverse population and face a range of social, legal, and epidemiological vulnerabilities. To be effective, health initiatives targeting these populations must take these specific characteristics into account.
