Educational Approach: How Do Physicians Perceive It? Results of the 2007 ENTRED Study.
The majority of general practitioners who participated in this survey see between 10 and 20 patients with diabetes per month. They assert a role in therapeutic education, with two out of three doctors coordinating the educational process and one in five conducting educational sessions. They express a desire for training in the area of the educational relationship, particularly regarding negotiating treatment goals with patients.[article introduction]
