Better addressing modesty and cultural diversity in hospitals.
At the Bordeaux University Hospital (CHU), some staff members are receiving training in cultural diversity based on a concrete issue: the way healthcare providers approach patient modesty is being analyzed and collectively reevaluated, with the help of anthropologists who conducted an on-site ethnographic study involving a focus group of professionals from various fields. To support this exchange between different professional cultures, specific tools have been created to promote changes in practices and perspectives.
