The 2007 ENTRED study (National Representative Sample of People with Diabetes) provides data on the characteristics, health status, and quality of care for adults with diabetes (8,926 adults with diabetes randomly selected from the national health insurance reimbursement databases). The majority of participants in the ENTRED survey (92%) have type 2 diabetes (T2D). Among them, 17% (n = 716) are treated with insulin.[article header]
