Viewed from a public health perspective, digital technology use and its effects on health cannot be reduced to individual or family issues. Rather, they are part of dynamics involving a variety of factors. The logic model proposed by the Institut national de santé publique du Québec, by describing the determinants and mechanisms of action, offers several avenues for reflection and action toward targeted and relevant prevention.
