At the national level, for the 2023–2024 period¹:

• The target participation rate is 29.6%, stable since 2020 and still below the acceptable European threshold

• For the year 2024, the target population participation rate is 28.4%; it was 28.5% in 2022 (comparison year2) and 30.8% in 2023

• The proportion of people with an unanalyzed screening test that has not been retaken is 2.7% (below the European benchmark of 3%)

• The proportion of people with a positive screening test is 3.3%, stable in recent years
