Survival Rates for People with Cancer in Metropolitan France, 1989–2018 - Cervical Cancer

In France, for the year 2018, the estimated number of new cases of cervical cancer was 2,920, and the estimated number of deaths from cervical cancer was 1,117. Key points: A 5-year age-standardized net survival rate of 63% for cases diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; Heterogeneity in survival trends by age; Between 1990 and 2015, a decline in net survival (at 1, 5, and 10 years) among the oldest women (aged 60 and older); Between 1990 and 2015, an improvement in net survival (at 1, 5, and 10 years) among the youngest women (under 50 years old).
