Alcohol in the Workplace: The Challenges of Prevention.

According to two recent surveys on the use of addictive substances (alcohol, tobacco, cannabis), 11% of working adults reportedly consume alcohol during work hours, excluding meals and after-work gatherings. Many business leaders have already faced alcohol-related issues within their companies, and many feel at a loss when dealing with such situations. The occupational physician plays a key role in prevention, from the perspective of both employees and HR departments.
