Promotional brochure for Youth Substance Use Clinics (CJC). These clinics are staffed by healthcare professionals who provide services to young people under the age of 25, assess their substance use, and help them stop. There are more than 700 such clinics across the country. They are free and anonymous, and can accommodate young people alone or accompanied by their families, or families alone without their children. Their purpose is to provide information and assessment in the early stages of substance use, and to initiate brief treatment or refer individuals to other facilities if necessary. They are affiliated with medical-social facilities (CSAPAs, hospital-based CJCs) staffed by professionals trained in the specific needs of working with young people.
