COVID-19

• Since week 42, a resurgence of COVID-19 viral circulation at a moderate level has been observed.

• Since the implementation of néo-sidep and changes in testing activity, we have seen a significant increase in the positivity rate (PR). The PR for COVID-19 rose from 9% to 26% between Week 43 and Week 46. This increase applies to all age groups.

• Regarding emergency department visits, 29 visits were recorded in Week 46 compared to 14 in Week 45 and 5 in Week 44. Hospitalizations following emergency department visits also increased, with 14 hospitalizations in Week 46 compared to 3 in Week 45 and 2 in Week 44. These are levels not seen since early July 2023.
