In Week 32, the incidence rate increased (+25% compared to the previous week) amid a sharp rise in the testing rate (+41%) and a slight decrease in the positivity rate (-11%). This trend was consistent across all departments in the region.
Among the tests screened in the region for variants of interest, 0.5% had the E484K variant, 0.1% had the E484Q variant, and 94.2% had the L452R variant.
Increase in emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19, critical care admissions, and hospitalizations.
