In Week 20 (May 17–23, 2021), COVID-19 epidemiological indicators continued to improve in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The level of viral circulation continues to decline at a rate similar to that of the previous week and slightly lower than that of France. Healthcare utilization indicators, particularly new hospitalizations and admissions to intensive care, are declining but at a slightly slower rate than in Week 19. The number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is decreasing but remains high.
