Santé publique France is France’s national public health agency. A public institution under the supervision of the Minister of Health, created through the merger of several public institutions by Order 2016-246 of April 15, 2016, the agency works to promote public health. As a scientific, expert, and public health safety agency, its missions include:

  1. Epidemiological observation and monitoring of the health status of the population;
  2. Monitoring health risks threatening the population;
  3. Promoting health and reducing health risks;
  4. Developing prevention and health education;
  5. Preparation for and response to health threats, alerts, and crises;
  6. Issuing health alerts.

The agency is organized into 12 scientific, cross-functional, or support divisions.

The agency’s strategic priorities and work program, established by its Board of Directors, are organized into three areas: Strengthening the capacity for anticipation and rapid response to address health threats; Measuring and assessing the extent of diseases and risk factors to guide their prevention and control; Strengthening the health impact of all public policies and the prevention and promotion of health.

Emergency and Crisis Management Division (DAC)

Responsibilities

Based at the warehouse in Marolles (51), and reporting to the deputy pharmacist (N+1) or the head pharmacist (N+2), the quality control technician assists the pharmacists with quality control tasks.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities are to ensure and facilitate:

  • the drafting, monitoring, and adherence to procedures,
  • participation in the documentation and tracking of deviations, complaints,
    CAPA, change control, etc.,
  • the sampling and quality control of masks and other healthcare
    products,
  • monitoring data (quality/quantity),
  • participation in drafting product sheets and catalogs,
  • monthly temperature checks of temperature-controlled
    equipment and archiving,
  • Assisting with the receipt, transfer, or shipment of healthcare
    products,
  • assisting with kitting and relabeling operations,
  • managing and monitoring the storage of healthcare products in freezers/refrigerators
    (mapping),
  • managing the sample library and the mask and PPE defect database,
  • document management for acknowledgments and training,
  • participating in accounts receivable and accounts payable (invoices, orders),
  • Participation in inventory counts,
  • participation in the development of information systems,

The employee may be assigned by their supervisor any other tasks related
to the platform’s operations, such as:

  • supporting service providers on-site,
  • cleaning the exterior and interior of the site,
  • sorting and disposing of waste,
  • defrosting freezers,

This position is subject to on-call duty at the site; approximately 1 week per
month.
