Knowledge transfer, evidence, and transferability: from clarifying concepts to changing practices

To promote the health of an individual, a population group, or the entire population, it is essential to draw on scientific knowledge and integrate it with the so-called "experiential" knowledge of those involved. This approach strengthens the scientific foundation of interventions while taking into account the expertise of those involved and their on-the-ground experiences.
