Why participate in the Esteban study?

You or your child have been randomly selected to participate in the Esteban study. This random selection is essential to ensure the reliability of the results and to provide an accurate picture of the health of the population living in France.

The success of this project therefore depends on your consent to participate.

In exchange for your participation, Esteban is offering you a free health checkup. It’s a chance to get a comprehensive overview of your health!

A comprehensive checkup to better understand your health

Participating in Esteban means, first and foremost, receiving a comprehensive health screening and having individual levels tested that are rarely measured (metals, vitamins, iron status, respiratory and food allergens, environmental pollutants, etc.).

Esteban includes screening for conditions and risk factors (allergies in children, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol) and a measurement of your exposure to certain substances found in our environment.

A step toward public health

Esteban is an essential component of future public health policies. Understanding the impacts of diet and the environment on our health and the development of certain chronic diseases is indeed essential to preserving the health of adults and our children.

A low-commitment participation

Participation in Esteban has been designed to be as flexible as possible to fit your schedule: interviews and exams at home, questionnaires completed online, and health exams available either at home or at one of the 74 Health Examination Centers operated by the Health Insurance Fund.
