Computer software for monitoring patients undergoing anti-tuberculosis treatment
A second-generation software program called "TB INFO" was developed as a follow-up to the first computerized patient monitoring system for patients undergoing tuberculosis treatment, which was created in 1995. It is designed to improve the monitoring of patients undergoing tuberculosis treatment. This project was carried out collaboratively by various organizations within a network that face the same challenges in both hospital and community settings. It is a simple software tool designed to assist in the monitoring of patients undergoing tuberculosis treatment, with the aim of jointly optimizing their medical and social care. It is also intended to improve treatment adherence and continuity of care, to obtain an annual descriptive analysis of this population by collecting epidemiological data from each center and comprehensively within the tuberculosis care network in northeastern Paris, promote collaborative research initiatives, provide the InVS with health and social data related to tuberculosis, and offer a shared IT tool to improve patient care at the national level.
