Epidemiology of Patients Hospitalized for Burns

The French Institute for Public Health Surveillance conducted a study on patients hospitalized for burns in 2010 using data from the Medical Information Systems Program. The study found that men are more likely to suffer burns than women. The severity of burns increases with age. More than 200 people die each year in hospitals as a result of burns. (R.A.)
