Changes in General Practitioners' Health Behaviors Regarding Smoking from 1992 to 1994

The national "Health Barometer" surveys conducted by the French Committee for Health Education (CFES) provide insight into changes in physicians' smoking habits from 1992 to 1994. The prevalence of smoking among physicians is compared to that of the general population and to that of managers. It is also interesting to identify differences in behavior between smoking and nonsmoking physicians regarding patients in the context of tobacco prevention.
