In week 41 (October 7–13), total activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased among children under 2 for the second consecutive week (+5%, or +323 visits), as well as among those aged 2–14 and those aged 75 and older (+3%, or +644 visits, and +4%, or +289 visits, respectively).

Over the past week, the increase in cases was mainly driven by respiratory conditions: acute bronchitis across all age groups (+9%, or +391 cases), upper respiratory tract infections (+6%, or +209 cases), and bronchiolitis (+11%, or +26 cases) among children under 2, asthma in children under 15 years of age (+12%, or +54 cases).

There was also an increase in visits for insect bites (+15%, or +44 visits) across all age groups, gastroenteritis (+5%, or +114 visits) in children under 15, vomiting (+8%, or +37 visits), and allergies (+6%, or +39 visits) in those over 15.

Among the most common conditions, we note an increase in cases of
: - infectious conjunctivitis (+20%) in children under 2 years old (for the 4th consecutive week),
- viral syndrome (+16%) in children aged 2–14,
- falls (+42%), pneumonia (+28%), urinary tract infections (+18%), and deaths (+14%) among those aged 75 and older.
