Summary

  • In week 46, overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics continues to rise among children and remains stable among adults.

  • Consultations for bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age are on the rise, consistent with trends from previous years. The epidemic continues in the Île-de-France and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions and is beginning in the Brittany, Normandy, Hauts-de-France, Grand Est, and Centre regions. The other regions (except Corsica) are in the pre-epidemic phase.

  • Consultations for upper respiratory tract infections are on the rise among children, as are those for bronchitis across all age groups, with activity levels comparable to those of the previous two years.

  • Consultations for gastroenteritis are slightly decreasing, though the proportion of coded cases remains higher than in the previous two years.
