SOS Médecins National Newsletter, May 25, 2010
Data from the SOS Médecins Nîmes association is now included in the bulletin.
Over the past week, the total volume of activity for SOS Médecins associations increased compared to the previous week across all age groups. This increase was observed in all regions and is likely due to the Pentecost weekend.
The proportion of cases for the "gastroenteritis" indicator has stabilized across all geographic areas and now accounts for only 10% of total activity. The allergies indicator increased slightly compared to last week across France. The reasons for calls regarding asthma among those over 2 years of age remain stable. For information, calls regarding insect bites, dehydration, and heatstroke increased last weekend (graphs not shown).
The number of deaths certified by SOS Médecins associations is slightly higher than in the previous week. This increase parallels the overall activity.
