Summary

  • In Week 5 of 2017, activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased among children (-6.5%) and adults aged 15–74 (-3%), and remained stable among adults aged 75 and older.

  • The proportion of cases related to influenza decreased across all age groups (-24.5% for all ages).

  • Other winter illnesses remained stable or declined, except for consultations for pneumonia, which increased among children (+3.7%, at levels higher than those of the previous two years) and among adults aged 15–74 (+16%).

  • Among children, there was an increase in consultations for conjunctivitis, isolated fever, and abdominal pain/diarrhea.

  • Among adults, there was an increase in consultations for trauma (+10%).
