Overall activity levels have increased by 9% among adults over 75, remained stable among adults under 75, and decreased by 6% among children under 15.
Visits for heat-related illnesses have risen sharply across all age groups, particularly in the southern and southeastern regions, though the total number of cases across all ages remains significantly lower than during the June-July heat waves.
Visits for insect bites are up by about 20% across all age groups, within expected ranges.
Visits for general malaise are up 35% among adults under 75.
