Summary
Emergency room visits and hospitalizations are on the rise among children under 2 years of age, have decreased significantly among children aged 2–14, and remain stable among adults.
Emergency room visits and hospitalizations for gastroenteritis are declining across all age groups, though the overall volume remains higher than in the previous two years.
The increase in visits for bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age continues, in line with the usual trend. An increase in consultations for asthma is also noted in this age group.
