The number of emergency department visits and hospitalizations is rising among children aged 2 to 14 and remains stable among adults.
Among children under 2 years of age, visits and hospitalizations for bronchiolitis are stable and represent the third most common condition. Rates are high in the Île-de-France and Upper Normandy regions.
Emergency room visits and hospitalizations for asthma among children aged 2 to 14 are rising sharply this week.
Emergency room visits for acute bronchitis and pneumonia are significantly decreasing across all age groups.
