Key points

• In emergency departments: visits due to suicide attempts were on the rise among children, primarily those aged 15–17. Visits due to suicidal ideation were also on the rise among 15–17-year-olds, as well as in all adult age groups. Rates of suicide attempts and suicidal ideation were higher than in the previous three years in these age groups.

• In the SOS Médecins network: an increase in cases involving anxiety was observed among adults, but the numbers remained lower than or comparable to those of previous years.
