• Among children, in connection with the start of the school year, the number of cases for the various indicators across both networks (except for alcohol poisoning and behavioral disorders) rose sharply during the first two weeks of September compared to August, before stabilizing in the second half of the month. Emergency department visits for suicidal ideation, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders were higher than or at the upper end of the ranges observed in the previous three years, particularly among 15- to 17-year-olds.

• Among adults, visits for the various indicators in September 2025 were stable or decreasing compared to August in both networks. Visits for suicidal ideation and mood disorders exceeded the numbers observed in previous years across all three age groups. Visits for suicide attempts, anxiety disorders, anxiety, and depressive states were also higher, primarily among 18- to 24-year-olds.
