Nationally and across all regions, based on INSEE data, the number of deaths across all age groups appears to have returned to within the usual range of fluctuation in weeks 19 and 20.
Excess deaths among people aged 65–84 were observed in week 19 but returned to the usual range of fluctuation in week 20.
The number of electronically certified deaths decreased by 8% in week 21.
