Health Surveillance of Mortality. Weekly Update, March 10, 2020

Summary

Nationwide, in Week 9 (February 24–March 1, 2020), mortality remained within the usual range of fluctuation across all age groups.

These observations should be interpreted with caution, as the data are still unconsolidated due to the usual transmission delays. They are intended to describe trends in mortality without linking them to any current events.

According to data from electronic certification, 2,525 deaths were recorded in week 10 (March 2–8, 2020).
