The number of deaths appears to be returning to the usual range of fluctuation in weeks 20 and 21 at the national level.
An excess of deaths continues to be observed through week 20 among people aged 65–84, while the number of deaths returned to the usual range of fluctuation among people aged 15–64 and those aged 85 and older starting in week 19.
In weeks 20 and 21, the number of deaths returned to the usual range of variation in all regions.
