Summary

Mortality rates observed during Week 23 (June 6–12) continue to decline slightly, in line with the usual seasonal trend, with figures close to—though slightly below—those expected for this period across all ages and age groups (Figures 1–3).The number of deaths recorded through electronic certification remained stable over the past week (1,150 deaths recorded between June 13 and 19).
