Health Surveillance of Mortality. Weekly Update, July 16, 2019
At the national level, a moderate increase in the number of deaths during week 26 (June 24–30) was observed among both adults aged 15–64 and adults aged 65 and older (Figures 1, 2, and 3). However, the numbers remain at the lower limit of the threshold among those aged 15–64 and those aged 85 and older.
In week 27 (July 1–7), the numbers appear to remain within the usual range of fluctuation across all age groups. These observations should be interpreted with caution, as the data are still unconsolidated due to the usual delays in reporting.
According to data from electronic certification, 2,100 deaths were recorded in week 28 (July 8–14, 2019)
