In 2002, to mark the 60th anniversary of *La Santé de l'homme*, sexuality was the subject of an article written by Alain Giami: “The Challenges of Sex Education: Between Morality and Health” (1). In 2012, the topic was revisited through an analysis of articles published over a six-year period, from 1942 to 1948, a time when several key themes emerged: prostitution, the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies, and sex education—all of which remain relevant today.
