Avoiding Gaps in Support Services for People Living with Mental Health Conditions [Interview]
A Clubhouse serves as a stepping stone toward an active social and professional life for people living with mental health conditions. Many different professionals are involved in the day-to-day support and care of people with mental health conditions. However, these various support initiatives do not sufficiently connect all these professionals, leading to gaps or dead ends in people’s care pathways. The Clubhouse therefore establishes this connection and creates a bridge by supporting the individual in their reintegration. Many of them have, in fact, endured years of diagnostic uncertainty and, as a result, missed opportunities in their lives.
