Key Points
Since January 1, 2019, 2,381 cases of measles have been reported (vs. 2,671 during the same period in 2018), including: 694 (29%) hospitalized (31 in intensive care), 167 cases (7%) complicated by pneumonia, 3 cases of encephalitis, including 2 deaths (subacute inclusion encephalitis in two immunocompromised young adults).
