Measles resurgence since November 2017
Decline in the number of new weekly cases: rapid following the epidemic peak (Weeks 13–18), then stabilization at around 40 cases per week (Weeks 21–26) and an average of around 20 cases over the past three weeks
As of July 29, 2018, 2,741 cases reported since November 6, 2017
86 departments reported at least 1 case during the period, but currently only 2 regions still have active outbreaks
Since Week 13, the number of cases has decreased in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with no active outbreaks
Highest incidence among children under 1 year of age: 29.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants
22% of reported cases were hospitalized
89% of measles cases occurred in unvaccinated or inadequately vaccinated individuals
