Key Points
Dengue, chikungunya, and Zika
associated with these outbreaks (+1 outbreak and +2 cases since the last update). Seven outbreaks are still active.
Four dengue outbreaks totaling 16 cases (no new cases) have also been identified. All have been closed.
West Nile virus infections
The Paca region has recorded 29 human cases of West Nile virus infection (no new cases since the last update): 18 in Bouches-du-Rhône, 9 in Var, and 2 in Vaucluse.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
Activity at SOS Médecins and emergency departments remains stable, with levels comparable to those observed during the same period last season in both networks.
Bronchiolitis (under 1 year)
Most indicators show an increase, which remains moderate, however, and at a lower level than that observed last season at the same time at SOS Médecins. Nationally, the situation is evolving with 2 regions in an epidemic phase and 4 entering a pre-epidemic phase, including one region in the southeast (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes).
COVID-19
Activity levels are low in both networks, comparable to those observed last season at the same time by SOS Médecins, and lower than in emergency departments.
