Key Points

Influenza and Flu-Like Illnesses

  • End of the epidemic.

  • Activity was slightly up at SOS Médecins but continued to decline sharply in emergency departments, returning to baseline levels.

Bronchiolitis (under 1 year)

  • Corsica was in S10, the last region still in the post-epidemic phase, for the 9th consecutive week. Activity remained steady in both networks, with an upward trend at SOS Médecins as well as in emergency departments.

COVID-19

  • Very low activity.

The circulation of respiratory viruses was declining in Week 10. For all acute lower respiratory infections, activity was slightly up at SOS Médecins and down in emergency departments, with a slight increase in hospitalizations following visits to the emergency department.

Pollen and Allergies

  • Pollen exposure was moderate in Haute-Corse and low in Corse-du-Sud in Week 10, with a significant decline in allergy-related activity at SOS Médecins.
