COVID-19

  • Moderate decline in viral circulation

  • Decrease in the number of active cases among patients in general wards and those admitted to critical care

Flu

  • Transition to the post-epidemic period—15 weeks of the epidemic.

  • Emergency departments - Emergency department activity related to flu-like symptoms is stable.

  • SOS Médecins - The proportion of consultations for a diagnosis of flu-like illness is declining.

  • Sentinel Network - The incidence rate for influenza-like illness reported by the Sentinel Network in week 19, not yet consolidated, is 92 per 100,000 inhabitants (95% CI [41; 143]).

  • Virological Surveillance - Since the start of surveillance, the Rénal network has isolated 3,538 type A viruses and 2 type B viruses.

  • Physicians in the Sentinelles network have isolated 72 influenza A viruses (data not available for the week analyzed).

  • Severe cases of influenza - 24 cases admitted to intensive care were reported by the intensive care sentinel network.
