COVID-19

  • The regional incidence rate, at 133 per 100,000 inhabitants, shows a decrease (-17%), with differing trends between the two departments. The incidence rate continues to rise in Southern Corsica (+6%) and to fall in Northern Corsica (-31%). It remains, however, above the alert threshold of 50 per 100,000 inhabitants.

  • The testing rate is slightly decreasing (5,279 per 100,000 inhabitants, a decrease of 10%). The regional positivity rate remains virtually stable (a decrease of 0.2 percentage points).

  • The active caseload of hospitalizations across all departments is increasing (+8 additional hospitalizations compared to Week 10). This is mainly due to an increase in general hospitalizations in Southern Corsica (+10 hospitalizations). Intensive care hospitalizations remain stable.
